• The incumbent would be required to ensure all technical aspects of the bulletin are met. To assist with producing creative and compelling content for Digital.

Writing

• Have good knowledge and understanding of South African and global news.
• Create compelling content by developing high-quality, informative and engaging content.
• Incorporate eye-catching visuals, such as images and videos to stories.
• Have an ability to write to visuals.
• Fact check all content to ensure that it meets with the correct standards.
• Stories must be accurate and unbiased.
• Write, edit and publish creative stories for eNCA.com.
• Have the ability to generate content found on online searches and social media i.e. trending stories and fresh angles.
• Write copies that meet eNCA.com style guide.
• Ensure that written copies include hyperlinks to previous stories and embed posts from social media.
• Technical
• Excellent understanding of newsroom workflow systems (Dalet).
• Cutting of bytes and interviews for digital platforms (Volicon).
• Check electronic media, social media and articles of interest. 
• Requirements

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate - Essential
• 3-year National Diploma in Journalism - Essential
• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism - Recommended

Experience

• 3 years' experience in Digital Content Producing - Essential

Computer Literacy

• MS Office Suite - Basic
• Photoshop - Intermediate
