    Digital Marketing Operations Manager

    Purpose of the Role:

    • As the Operations Manager in the Digital Marketing team, you will be reporting to the Head of SEO based in London. This role is responsible for providing functional support to the Management teams within Digital Marketing. The successful candidate should be equally confident and capable of influencing subordinates, peers as well as senior management.

    Duties will include, but not limited to: 

    MANAGING EFFICACY OF DIGITAL MARKETING:

    • Manage and direct the SEO Managers, in conjunction with both the Head of SEO.
    • Work in close collaboration with the Head of SEO on defining and continuously refining the marketing strategy
    • Provide the Marketing Teams with the strategic direction and support to grow the business effectively
    • Driving proactive measures to ensure that Managers and Team Leads identify and act on day-to- day issues
    • Conduct a diagnostic with the assistance of Managers, Team Leads and HRBP’s to ensure staff are developed and have the necessary skills to do execute on their roles optimally.

    COACHING AND DEVELOPMENT:

    • Driving coaching solutions with the assistance of HRBP’s and OD to ensure that the DIGI culture and values are embedded in all teams.
    • Driving consistency throughout the department to ensure that the DIGI Talent Management Strategy are executed effectively, e.g. Personal Development Plans, Talent Management, Job Shadowing, talent streams etc.
    • Driving and managing effective succession planning throughout the Department by actively coaching for the next level.
    • Driving the consistency of all HR related processes with the assistance of HRBP’s, e.g. Interviews, on boarding, probation management, performance management, change management etc.
    • Provide coaching to Managers and Team Leads to facilitate regular business update strategy sessions with their respective teams.
    • Facilitate situational coaching sessions with leadership teams to transfer business skills and knowledge with the assistance of HRBP’s and OD.

    STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS AND COMMUNICATION:

    • Keep the business, e.g. HRBP’s, Managers, Team Leads and Head of SEO abreast of issues, and opportunities on a frequent basis.
    • Ensure that internal stakeholders are kept abreast of any business updates
    • Ensure that external stakeholders are kept abreast of any business updates and/or shift in marketing sentiment.
    • Pro-actively offer additional operational solutions to ensure that the business objectives are achieved and improved upon.
    • Ensure that the lines of communication are maintained with key stakeholders both locally as well as satellite offices.

    Essential Criteria:

    • Tertiary Qualification in Business Management and/or similar
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Digital Marketing Operational Management
    • Knowledge of online marketing and writing for websites
    • Previous experience in the SEO
    • Advanced excel
    • Desirable Criteria:
    • Experience or knowledge of the online Gaming Industry
