Key Responsibility Areas

• Receives work details and/or communicates with the departmental personnel to establish details of tasks.
• Inspects safety devices, controls, lubricant levels etc on vehicles and reports defects to the Superintendent.
• Observes and/or participates in the loading/offloading and issuing sequences of material and equipment and corrects deviations from safety procedures.
• Transports staff, equipment and materials to/from specific locations.
• Collects/delivers mail correspondences and documentation to/from the Regional Offices and depots.
• Completes internal transactional documentation and related forms.

Essential Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license
• 3 Months relevant experience. 

Preferred Requirements

• 6 Months relevant experience.
