Job Advert Summary    

• We are seeking an experience Parts Driver & Storeman to join our team at Toyota Somerset West. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the movement, storage, and retrieval of parts and materials in our facility as well as additional drivier responsibilities to internal customers of the dealership.This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum Grade 12
• Proven experience working in a Automotive Parts environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling parts and materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using computerised inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods
• Valid Drivers License 

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and materials against purchase orders.
• Properly label, tag, and store parts in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Prepare parts and materials for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
• Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Deliver a general service to the internal customers of the dealership, by pick-ups and dropping-off goods and registering vehicles, while always ensuring vehicles are safe.
