Employers Agent Representative Assistant – (Services) Fixed term at Bosch Holdings (Pty) Ltd

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construction monitoring of construction activities including the oversight of contractors and ensuring that contractor’s meet critical project deadlines.
• Monitor the Contractor’s progress of projects on site.
• Keep a daily site diary and do weekly reporting of site activities to the Employer’s Agent’s Representative / Employer’s Agent.
• Assist with project administration, including payment certificate preparation.
• Ensure compliance with Bosch Projects’ ISO 9001/2015 QMS System and attend to site inspections to ensure full compliance with internal and external audits.
• Report daily to the Employer’s Agent’s Representative (RE) on project implementation activities.
• Design changes must be referred to the Engineer.
• Liaise with the Contractor’s Site Agent with regards to all aspects of the work.
• Assist the RE in liaising with the relevant service providers to co-ordinate the alteration/relocation of their services.
• Assist the RE in taking and compiling minutes of site meetings with the Contractor and Client.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A National Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 1 – 3 years’ experience in Civil Engineering construction monitoring / site management.
• Good experience with regards to water, sewer and stormwater services / construction.
• Good computer skills – MS office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• The ability to function independently and as part of a project team.
• Being self-driven with a capacity for continuous self – improvement.
• A valid driver’s license and own transport.
