To provide end to end legal advice on employment contract related and employee relations issues in respect of all business units across operations in South Africa. This includes ensuring that the company complies fully with all aspects of employment law, that substantive and procedural fairness prevails and that employment related issues are given due consideration in operational decision making. The job incumbent also represents the Company at CCMA and other employment tribunals nationally.
The role requires expert knowledge of employment law and conditions and how compliance impacts operational decision making across all business areas. Decision making is complex but needs to be applied consistently and can have significant financial or reputational or operational impact.
