End User Support Administrator at eThekwini Municipality

Job Purpose    

• Performs technical service for all computer hardware and software problems and enquiries and provides liaison facility between the customers and the Information Management Unit.

This post reports to SERVICE DESK SUPERVISOR

Key Responsibility Areas    

•  Administers all user queries and fault escalations calls.
•  Diagnoses and solves problems remotely and ensure that service delivery is not hampered by the delays in resolving queries.
•  Provides Information Technology hardware and software support.
•  Produces and distributes statistical data.
•  Maintains change control and schedule all implementations and ensure that adequate support and time is available.
•  Performs quality checks of all queries logged and close the logged query on the system when it is resolved.

Essential Requirements    

•  Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field.
•  Valid motor vehicle driving license.

•  3 Years relevant experience.
