We are seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our Medical Ward team. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the supervision of a Unit Manager to provide direct patient care and assist with the management of the ward.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, and report any changes to the Registered Nurse or Unit Manager.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Assist with wound care and dressing changes
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse.
Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse.
Must be prepared to do shiftwork (Night shift / Day Shift)
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
