Requirements

• Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), as a Nursing Assistant. 
• Knowledge of nursing care, processes and procedures. 
• Ability to function within a community. 
• Provide healthcare services. Good communication skills and keep patient information confidential. 
• Ability to work under pressure and must be able to work shifts.

Duties
Duties: Practice nursing in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of nursing. Maintain ethical standards of nursing, including professional development. 

• Provide elementary nursing care, which entails clinical observation, maintenance of hygiene and nutritional status of patients. 
• Create a safe and therapeutic environment. 
• Be responsible for the efficient and effective utilization of resources. 
• Render support to Nursing Professionals. Assist patients with activities of daily living. Patient care.  Adhere to Batho Pele Principles, Patients Right Charter. 
• Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and other clinicians.
