The Executive Operations role requires an experienced leader in facilities management, specifically overseeing critical infrastructure like HVAC systems, large data centres, UPS/power backup systems, industrial generators, and general building maintenance.
Reporting directly to the COO and managing a team of Contracts Managers, Technical Managers, Senior Facilities Managers, and Engineering Managers, the role involves ensuring that strategic and critical facilities meet both business and contractual needs.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with a preference for Electrical or Electro-mechanical disciplines due to the nature of the equipment involved.
A Government Certificate of Compliance (GCC) is mandatory, and additional qualifications in Facilities Management, MBA, or MBL are advantageous.
You should have 15 years of relevant work experience, including 8 years in Engineering and Senior Management roles, with expertise in CRM, Property Management, and a variety of technical and core areas such as general building maintenance, supply chain, procurement, and contract management.
Strong skills in MS Office, SAP, and knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001, and risk management systems are essential.
The role demands financial oversight, customer engagement, operational strategy development, and adherence to statutory and governance requirements. A valid SA Driver’s License is required.
