    Location: Upington, South Africa

    Main purpose of position

    Currently we are looking for a Facilities Controller in Cape Town to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Facilities Controller you are within the Operations and Maintenance function, providing a service to the Round 4 Portfolio. During the O&M phase, the focus is on control of Facilities for quality, reporting of internal metrics, benchmarking and share best practices within the portfolio.

    Main responsibilities

    • Ensure a safe and serviced Plant office working environment

    • Ensure all canteens and ablution facilities are stocked and serviced through the on-site Plant staff

    • Ensure all Plant office related QHSSE standards are met and audits and inspections are carried out according to the schedule

    • Ensure that the warehouses and Plant office assets are maintained

    • Supervision of Cleaner duties on R4

    • Ensure a safe Plant Office environment for all staff, with the implementation of all QHSSE requirements

    • Ensure that the on-site security staff and measures are in place

    • Ensure stock management processes are adhered to

    • Ensure daily stock balances and facilities investigations to resolve stock balances

    Qualifications and competencies

    • Tertiary qualification in business related field, i.e. transport and supply chain management

    • Basic understanding of Renewable Energy Operations and Maintenance processes

    • Familiar with e-Document management systems

    • Knowledge of Warehouse and Delivery processes

    • Good technical knowledge

    • IdealTertiary qualification in business related field, i.e. transport and supply chain management

    • 3+ Years proven experience in Renewable Energy Operations and Maintenance

    • Experience in working with SharePoint

    • Knowledge of ISO9001, and the implementation thereof
