This role will support the Head of Design & Implementation to drive the delivery of the data and technology agenda for Anglo American Finance for the deployment of the Finance Information Model.
Key Responsibilities include:
Partners with the business unit leaders to deliver the Finance Information Model in line with the global framework- Up to and including C Suite
Partners with the business unit leaders to align their reporting and system designs to the Group Data/Systems Policies and Management Accounting Standards.
Oversees the validation and alignment of change impacts between the central project team and the business team.
Manages local partner relationships, ensuring partner delivery is in line with agreed statement/s of work.
Leads a team of data subject matter experts on the Finance Information Model rollout, including the deployment of the global data model (i.e. global chart of accounts, cost centre structures, allocation rules, etc).
Oversees the implementation of business process changes required to financial accounting, performance management and other cross-functional processes to align to AA Operating Model (AAOM) and the Cost Accounting Standard.
Prepares BU progress update materials as required for regular program meetings and presents the materials in-meeting
Partners with the Head of Design & Implementation to execute and drive data management, governance and technology improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Broad ranging leadership experience and senior stakeholder influencing skills- Including C Suite
Project management qualification desirable (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent)
SAP FI certification desirable
Solid working knowledge of SAP FICO architecture, including Finance and cross-functional data objects, this could be from an end-user or key user role
Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred
Working knowledge of other financial systems (e.g. Oracle Hyperion, Blackline, Anaplan)
