    Finance Manager

    • Are you a seasoned finance professional with a passion for accuracy, collaboration, and strategic thinking? We are seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to join our team and drive financial excellence within our organization.

    What we are looking for:

    • Bachelor of Commerce with specialisation in Accounting
    • Professional certification would be advantageous.
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
    • Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
    • Proven track record of managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
    • 5+ years’ experience in a finance managerial role

    In this pivotal role you will be responsible for:

    • Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to aid in decision-making.
    • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing variances.
    • Assist in the preparation of long-term business plans, financial forecasts, and risk analyses.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial information, reports, and analysis aligned to business requirements for the Business Units and Division.
    • Perform periodic and year end closing, in coordination with the concerned departments/divisions, including periodic IFRS financial statements for external and internal reporting including the processes supporting these.
    • Prepare monthly management accounts and ad hoc reports to internal financial stakeholders.
    • Manage the preparation and analysis of financial information to Business Unit and Divisional leadership
    • Validate, check, and reconcile planning, budgeting, and forecasting data for the Business Units.
    • Highlight trends, scrutinise all cost allocations, query anomalies, and flag potential issues
    • Lead the annual budgeting process, including detailed budgeting and forecasting.
    • Track budget performance, ensuring that Business Units adhere to approved budgets. Recommend corrective actions to address variances between actual performance and budget projections.
    • Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
    • Perform financial and cost/benefit analysis of current or anticipated programmes or initiatives for Business Units
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing appropriate internal controls.
    • Conduct regular scheduled reviews and audits per the audit plan.
    • Manage internal and external audit processes and ensure audit requirements are met.
    • Identify trends, highlight risks, provide mitigation, and provide support to business decisions.
    • Provide executive management within the Business Units with advice on the financial implications of business activities and provide consultative support on planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
    • Manage the organisation's cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational requirements.
    • Talent management for direct reports in terms of recruitment, retention and development.
    • Ensure that all staff are motivated, developed, and appraised so that individual and collective performance meets the needs of the customers
    • Work collaboratively with Group Finance, to ensure production of accurate and timely information related to the Business Units.
    • Work closely with the Group Tax team to ensure compliance with legislation
    • Work collaboratively within the Division and provide support to the Division team
    • Work collaboratively with other finance teams across the Group.
