    Financial Manager CA(SA)

    • You are meticulous and your attention to detail is off the charts. You understand what it’s like to work in a small/medium size organisation and have expert knowledge of international trade and its effect on the finances of an organisation. You thrive on being hands-on yet still strategic. You love motivating the team that works for you and getting the best out of them.

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • Reporting directly to the Financial Director your team of two hands on accountants and you will take full responsibility for the planning, organisaton, directing and controlling of all accounting, audit and financial operations. From budgeting to the production of monthly, quarterly and annual reports including the analysis, research and modelling of these numbers for senior management. Our client’s main suppliers all sit overseas necessitating strong cash flow management and knowledge of Forex.
    • This is a great role as you and your team take full responsibility for the financial function of the business thereby helping steer the business to even greater heights.

    • In a dynamic, strong and stable family owned and run business and is a leading supplier of food ingredient and process raw material in South Africa. With an impressive international supplier list that is over 50 strong and a diverse, stable client base they are on a rapid path for growth. Despite COVID they are having their best year ever – can anyone say, “Recession Proof industry”?

    What you’ll need

    • A CA(SA) with a min of 5 years’ experience as a Financial Manager, ideally gained in a small to medium size business with at least 3 years of those having managed a small team. Strong, proven working knowledge of International trade (Imports, Customs and Foreign Exchange) are non-negotiable. Pastel Accounting and Payroll experience would be preferable. The ability to speak German will be a definite advantage (although negotiable)
