Fleet Specialist- KZN at Fidelity Services Group

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 2 years minimum fleet control experience advantageous
• Previous experience in a similar fleet environment would be advantageous

JOB REQUIREMENTS & OTHER
ATTRIBUTES:

• Computer Literate (MS Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)
• Valid driver’s license
• Must have basic background on vehicles maintenance – service intervals
• Negotiation skills Sound knowledge of fleet market trends
• Analytical, systematic and detailed would be advantageous attributes
• Upkeep of vehicle image

• Carry out weekly inspections of company vehicles
• Carry out daily maintenance from vehicle check sheets
• Perform light maintenance and immediate service tasks to vehicles at inspection

• Prepare vehicles that need to go in for service or panel beating
• Ferry vehicles to and from suppliers, garages and workshops
• Liaise with suppliers to perform the immediate task at hand
• Develop and maintain sound working relationships with suppliers
• Keep records of maintenance tasks and purchases in writing and on computer
• Be present at all times when vehicle tracking is installed on the vehicles
• Inform the Regional Manager of all accidents within 24 hours
• Complete the re-fuelling spreadsheet daily in order to monitor services due on vehicles
• Ensure that vehicles are serviced within the parametres provided by the OEM'S
