    Food and Beverage Director

    Job Description

    • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the food and beverage department in alignment with the hotel's overall objectives and goals.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
    • Prepare and manage the department's annual budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.
    • Collaborate with executive chefs, culinary teams, and beverage managers to create innovative menus that cater to diverse guest preferences.
    • Ensure menus are regularly updated and reflective of seasonal changes and emerging food and beverage trends.
    • Monitor food and beverage costs, portion sizes, and pricing to maintain profitability while delivering value to guests.
    • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and presentation guidelines.
    • Develop training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of staff members, ensuring consistent service excellence.
    • Collaborate with event coordinators and sales teams to ensure seamless event operations and exceptional guest experiences.
    • Coordinate with other departments to provide comprehensive support for events, including audiovisual needs, room setup, and staffing requirements.

    The Successful Applicant

    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Extensive experience in food and beverage operations within the hotel industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
    • Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
    • Proficient in using computer software and systems relevant to food and beverage operations.
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
