    Fraud & ID Product Manager - EMEA

    Job Description
    Job Purpose

    The Product Manager for Fraud and ID is responsible for managing the full product lifecycle of one or more of Experian’s Fraud and ID products and propositions in EMEA. This starts with the product vision, strategy and planning, through development of the product and post-release management, maintenance and sunset lifecycles. The product manager manages the process through interaction with clients and prospects, and by working with an internal cross-functional team that includes Global Product and Marketing, Regional Commercial Strategy (Marketing, Pricing, Strategy and Partnerships), Sales, Finance, Software Development and Delivery. The product manager will be the regional SME for their products and have knowledge of competitive solutions. They will act as ambassador, champion and evangelist for the products they manage and have the ability to operate at a range of levels across the business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • To develop the regional Fraud & Identity product strategy for one or more Fraud & Identity products, including the creation and maintenance of the associated roadmaps in collaboration with the Global Product Management organisation and the socialisation of these both internally and with clients.
    • Identify, develop and bring to market new products / product extensions / propositions that deliver significant value to Experian and its clients. Own, manage and lead the progression of these initiatives through the established Go To Market planning process and be accountable for its successful execution and on-going performance of the new product / proposition.
    • Ensure the effective in-life management of existing products to ensure they deliver the quality and value expected of Experian’s clients. Gather product requirements from the market, clients and other appropriate sources to synthesise into a prioritised backlog in collaboration with Global Product Management and to manage their delivery into the market and client base.
    • Provide subject matter expertise to the EMEA region in respect of the Fraud and ID products under ownership. Ensure sales teams awareness and training on the product proposition and support significant sales opportunities where appropriate.

    Qualifications
    Education/Certifications

    • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in a scientific, engineering, computing or technical field
    • Master’s degree in business administration (desirable)
    • Professional product management qualification e.g. Pragmatic Marketing or NPDP from the PDMA

    Skills/Experience

    • 3+ years’ experience of software product management and proposition development of a portfolio of products addressing multiple market and segment needs
    • Experience in the creation and execution of product strategy, roadmaps and Go To Market plans for new / updated products or propositions
    • In depth knowledge of fraud and ID solutions applied to one or more of the Banking, Financial Services, Telcos and Insurance sectors in one or more of credit application processing, customer on-boarding, customer management or transaction processing use-cases
    • Good understanding of EMEA Fraud & ID markets and business drivers
    • Strong commercial acumen, including demonstrable experience in constructing business cases for new product / proposition initiatives and a deep appreciation of how to build and articulate the value of those propositions to our different target markets and clients
    • An understanding of how to apply advanced analytics modelling and machine learning in Fraud and ID applications would be an advantage, as would an understanding of SaaS deployment models
    • Good insight of software product development processes, including Waterfall and particularly Agile
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills (verbal, written and presentation) across different audiences, including senior leadership
    • Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple markets
    • Strong organisational and management skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a complex, virtual, matrix environment
    • Highly motivated, self-starting and able to work well with limited supervision
