Front End Developer at Pick n Pay Stores Limited

Job Advert Summary

• To lead, maintain and code HTML landing pages and responsive mailers using Front End best practices including responsive web design, progressive enhancement, accessibility and keeping abreast with Best practice in the digital marketing industry.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years proven relevant work experience
• Will have to manage and mentor a junior front-end developer
• Must have experience with standard web technologies including: HTML5, CSS3
• Must be able to update CSS styles
• Must be familiar with Front-End web development best practices, e.g., progressive enhancement, accessibility, responsive web design, performance and SEO
• Must be familiar with Photoshop
• Experience with Hybris and Figma is advantageous
• Experience with marketing automation platforms advantageous
• Ability to collaborate with back-end developers and web designers when required to.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor team performance and adjust activities or timelines as circumstances warrant; provide feedback and guidance to team members as necessary
• Establish open communication channels across functional levels to support interaction and open dialogue among team members; inspires and motivates team members to work collaboratively
• Maintain and code various  HTML landing pages
• Code various responsive emailers
• Quality assurance of all landing pages and email
• Testing of emailers
