    General Assistant: Level 2 (Licenced Driver) X2

    Job Purpose

    • To perform basic technical, administrative or logistical tasks according to the required level of quality and within the allocated time.

    Education and Experience

    Minimum Qualification & Experience Required

    • Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 1 year experience in driving with Professional Driving Permit

    Job Outputs:

    Process

    • Adhere to and apply changes to own work processes as instructed.
    • Apply and utilise systems in a manner that ensures accurate processing of information that contributes to efficient and effective completion of tasks.
    • Assist with administrative tasks within the relevant unit.
    • Communication of progress on requests.
    • Effectively utilise resources allocated to the job in order to perform contracted work outputs and report on and escalate any shortfalls.
    • Ensure that all basic queries are resolved timeously, in line with provided procedures and guidelines and escalate unresolved issues.
    • Ensure the safe and efficient transport of passengers as and when required.
    • Perform general handwork and routine maintenance to agreed quality standards.
    • Plan and organise own work tasks within area of work.
    • Report on daily task activities to provide timely information for decision making.
    • Resolve problems and report issues.

    • Share for, integrate and share new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities in the execution of your job.
    • Ask for support or training to improve the quality and standard of own work.
    • Develop productive working relationships with team members, Ops Managers and key role players in the business to support contracted work outputs.
