Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Sharing
Readily shares knowledge when tasked or approached.
Develop and Maintain Software
Contributes to ensuring an appropriate software design, in conjunction with Technical Lead and Senior Developer, according to best practice. Develops and releases software as per the team standards and processes to meet the defined specifications. Ensures that the development or maintenance performed does not comprise the quality or functionality and seeks guidance from Seniors where necessary. Communicates status and escalates on risks and issues appropriately and timeously. Comprehensively creates and maintains documentation of the software implementation, according to documentation standards
Software Quality
Test your software as per the team’s software quality charter. Make sure your software does what supposed to do as per the defined specification. Test all changes you made and ensure that existing functionality works as expected. Takes full ownership of quality by working with the QA team and Team Seniors to ensure the test plans are of a high quality and cover the full scope of development. Actively review and fix all defects found as per the defined quality standards and seeks guidance from seniors where necessary.
Support and Maintenance
Provides support for product related issues in production with appropriate amount of urgency, while quickly identifying the problem scope. Provides effective and timely feedback on support issues. Provides support to dependent teams.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum Qualifications: B.Sc. Computer science degree or relevant IT/ game development qualification
Advantageous: Experience in Web technologies
Understand the SDLC
Appropriate problem-solving skills
Work under pressure
Good written and verbal communications skills
Ability to troubleshoot with assistance
Candidates are encouraged to provide a portfolio of previous work experience (e.g. GIT Hub) upon application
