    Graduate Recruitment Consultant x2

    University Project

    • Identify and develop a database of the relevant tertiary institutions to visit countrywide.
    • Develop a universities marketing strategy
    • Establish, build and maintain working relationships with University Heads of Accounting and Career Offices in order to visit their campuses and recruit their students
    • Ensure sufficient marketing stock for visits
    • Plan, co-ordinate, travel to and conduct University visits, interacting with under-graduate and post-graduate Accounting students
    • Organise local/regional involvement/presence at all University visits
    • Organise BU involvement and participation on university visits, where necessary
    • Assisting with organising and conducting interviews on smaller and/or remote campuses
    • Identify possible advertising and sponsorship of academic awards opportunities
    • Report on all visits

    Recruitment process

    • Working knowledge ofAGSA in the public sector context, i.e. who our client is and what AGSA require in terms of trainee accountants
    • Sourcing of CV’s
    • Short listing of candidates
    • Interviewing of candidates
    • Ensure that contracts are issued
    • Monitor the EE targets for TA’s

    Relationship management

    • Establish, build and maintain working relationships with relevant University Heads of Accounting and Career Centres
    • Establish, build and maintain working relationships with relevant AGSA contact persons, e.g. Training Officers, Communications Business Unit, ICT etc.)

    Initiatives

    • Guide Business Units on all grad initiatives (Additional visits to Universities)
    • Collaborate with Business units to manage programmes run for students (Audit experience programme)
    • Manage future candidates and maintain pipeline

    Minimum requirement:

    • HR related/ BCom Diploma
    • Preferred: HR related/ BCom Degree.

    Experience

    • At least two years’ experience in the recruitment environment, specifically relating to graduates.
    • Exposure to in branding/ marketing initiatives.
    • Project management experience specifically relating to the learnership scheme.
