    Who are we?

    Working Adventures is a recruitment company helping connect adventurous individuals with big brands around Europe. We help German, Dutch, French & Scandinavian speakers find jobs in exciting locations such as Barcelona, Lisbon, Athens & Dublin.

    Our whole team is remote-based so you’ll be working with colleagues from across Europe and even further!

    What you’ll be doing:

    • Manage the recruitment and selection process for all internal positions

    • Create engaging job descriptions and deploy recruitment strategies to attract quality team members

    • Handle all day-to-day HR administrative related tasks including contract renewals, system & regulation updates etc

    • Onboard new team members and ensure they have a smooth start to life at the company

    • Build and improve processes including evaluations, onboarding & training

    • Be a company culture ambassador by creating engagement among the team, organise team events and create incentives

    Requirements

    • You speak English to a fluent/native level;

    • You have 3+ years in HR & Recruitment;

    • Self Employed (or willing to register as);

    • Ideally, experience working from home or on a remote basis;

    • Have strong administrative and organizational skills;

    • Have experience in helping to build a company culture;

    • Fast computer and quick internet needed!

    • You’re a great multi-tasker;

    • You take initiative and you are very positive;

    • You have a spare room, office or quiet and calm area to work from.

    What do you get?

    • Salary of €15 per hour gross;

    • A long-term freelancer contract with monthly invoicing (it’s your responsibility to be registered as self-employed and to pay your income taxes);

    Contract conditions

    We would also like to inform you what the contract roughly will contain, so you have a better understanding of the working conditions:

    • Starting Date: We are looking for someone who can start asap.

    • Contract: You will receive a trial contract of 3 months for 20 hours per week. After successful completion of the trial contract, you’ll be offered a contract of 6 months with a 1 month notice period. We are looking for a long-term partnership, therefore, the length of contracts will increase in the future.

    • Salary: As of your start date, your base salary will be hourly €15.00;

    • Tax & Employment Status: You’ll be hired on a freelance contract and will not be a direct employee of Working Adventures. The amount you’ll be paid will be the total gross earnings and it is your responsibility to register in the correct form (self employed, registered company, etc) and to pay your taxes in the correct country. We’ll request proof that you are registered as a company/self employed. This is something Working Adventures cannot advise on. At the end of each month, you’ll be expected to invoice Working Adventures with the agreed-upon amount.

    • Sick leave: For the 1st 3 months, If you can’t work due to illness, you’ll not get paid for that time. After this period, we offer additional vacations days to cover sick leave, doctors appointments etc

    • Paid Time Off: Over the course of a year, you’ll receive 22 to 25 paid non-workdays (pro-rata);

    • National Holidays: You’ll receive the national holidays of the country you live in;

    • Unpaid Leave: As a remote worker, you are not entitled to unpaid leave;

    • Working Hours: You’ll be expected to work 20 hours per week between the hours of 9am to 5.30pm (Dutch Time), Monday to Friday.
