The Head of Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement will be responsible for external and internal stakeholder engagement ranging from the end-users of our products to clients and intermediaries to our Kaelo people. You will support the business by ensuring that all content, design and initiatives are aimed at enhancing the experience while complying to regulations and corporate identity guidelines.
Ensure optimal implementation and performance of certain essential functions
Further develop and drive implementation of strategic objectives for the business and provide continuous thought-leadership
Present new ideas, models and innovative solutions to strategic stakeholders and regularly report on progress
Oversee daily operations and effectiveness of the business unit through the strong people management of the team including but not limited to task management, planning, reporting, one-on-ones, coaching, performance management etc.
Strong people engagement across all business areas and participation in leadership forums etc.
Ensure overall delivery and quality of the unit's offerings to its internal client including engaging in key or targeted client activities
Management of initiatives and projects ensuring integration, sustainability and business/people engagement.
Create and ensure implementation of a strategy designed to grow and improve the business unit and the business
Ensures effectiveness within the service operating, workforce planning, content and communication and learning and development
Thoroughly evaluate and decides on key investments resources such as equipment, infrastructure and talent
Generates annual budget, monitors and approves expenses and reports on variances to superiors and the Finance department
Attend forums and committees to represent the division
Strong engagement and contracting with external outsource providers.
Content and Design
Management of the content and design team and ensure all adherence to processes and quality of deliverables according to business requirements and timelines.
Your team will be responsible for:
Template Management: Team is responsible for creating and maintaining templates that can be used for all Kaelo Audiences in a variety of formats including email, poster, social media, digital newsletters etc.
Content and Communications:
Create and maintain content catalogues, ensuring that content is written for all audiences, is accurate and consistent throughout collateral
Create/write content for a variety of formats including external/internal email communication, learning initiatives, website, campaigns, newsletters etc.
Content Marketing: Create a yearly planner for newsletters and other collateral and produce these elements on a monthly basis, quarterly and Adhoc basis
Product and Operational Marketing:
Design collateral templates to ensure that content and design is consistent and aligned to the brand
Create collateral designs (posters, newsletters, email, web forms , social media etc.) using predefined templates and liaise with suppliers if necessary to generate collateral while adhering to the Corporate Identity Guidelines and Style Guide to ensure that we produce high-quality and error-free collateral
Posting of all social media content (excluding complaint management)
During busy periods, there may be a need for you to assist with the above elements.
You will be responsible for:
The management, enhancement and adherence to sign-off processes with internal and external stakeholders
Manage the social media team and ensure that content is produced on a monthly basis ensuring compliance with stakeholder requirements and in line with our product offering
The quality assurance of all work created by the Team ensuring it is in line with Corporate Identity Guidelines, Style Guide, Product Content Masters and Compliance requirements to ensure that we produce high-quality and error-free collateral
Ensure Marketing (Social Media, Website, Email, Call etc.) interactions with Kaelo Stakeholders are tracked, highlighting effectiveness and key trends to business
Participate in necessary forums and ensure that requests by the business are managed, in line with the strategy and prioritised
Management of the people team and ensure adherence to processes and the quality of deliverables in line with business requirements and timelines while maintaining compliance with labour law and other regulations.
You will be responsible for, together, with the team and outsourced partners:
Organisational Design: Maintaining and ensuring the governance of the organisational design and quality of job profiles
Adherence to the recruitment process as well as the posting of all job profiles across the Kaelo Group
Recruitment assessments: Manage the relationship of the outsourced partner to ensure access to assessments to ensure quality candidates are recruited with the correct skill-set and alignment to the Kaelo guiding principles
Adherence to the on-boarding process and the creation and maintenance of all on-boarding documentation
The creation and updating of the Kaelo Induction
Career Development, Learning and Talent Management:
Maintenance and enhancement of people processes and documents (i.e. one-on-ones, coaching, performance corners, succession planning)
The creation of all business-wide training initiatives including product training and manager training
Employee Engagement: Using insights from people engagement survey’s plan initiatives to enhance the people experience i.e. create monthly Townhall presentations, plan wellness days etc.
People Systems: Maintain and enhance all people systems to ensure that systems are in line with the Technology stack and ensure that systems are user friendly, provide access to communications, document storage, task management etc.
Chair the People Committee: Chair the People Committee and prepare the presentation by gathering information from the business to cover topics ranging from BBB-EE status updates, employee benefits, recruitment stats, people system initiatives, learning initiatives, health and safety etc.
Define, track and report on meaningful measures aligning the People/ People agenda to the business
