Description
We are looking for somebody who is passionate about people and tickled by technology to lead our people operations team as we grow Electrum through its teenage years.
Our people operations team is responsible for creating a healthy and productive workplace so that we reach our business goals at the same time as nurturing our values. This includes attracting, hiring, retaining, and supporting our top talent as well as office management and the legal and ethical tasks traditionally associated with the Human Resource (HR) role set. We like to think of the people operations team, together with the leadership team, as the production crew of an award winning musical performance where our fellow Electrolites are the singers.
Our business goals are growth themed and our strategy is centred around people which makes the role of the people operations team and the job of the Head of People Operations central to us achieving business success. The successful candidate will report to the Chief of Operations.
Responsibilities
As Head of People Operations your responsibilities will be to:
Lead, coach, and oversee the people operations team to build an excellent people value chain
Support the organisation's growth goals by optimising and evolving talent and employee experience practice
Manage organisational changes such process updates or team changes for smooth and quick adoption
Provide leadership on people-related issues and policies across the organisation
Manage, track and analyse the people value change with suitable metrics
Ensure legal compliance for all people-related processes
Requirements
Degree in Human Resources or related field
Proven working experience in People Operations management
Proven experience in scaling a company of knowledge workers from 60 to 100+ employees
In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Demonstrable passion for technology
Known to be people-oriented and results-driven
Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
