• Head of Technical Operations Regional Hub Sub-Sahara Africa (SSA)
• Gauteng, South Africa.

Key Performance Indicators
Quality and effectiveness of direction setting actions: Development and adaption of hub strategic targets - based on given EMEA strategy - into local initiatives and implementation degree
Achievements of the Balanced Score Card Technical Operations
Achievement of sales and profit targets as defined by the business
Ensure all operational KPI's are achieved i.e PPM's, Response times etc

1. Achievements of the Balanced Score Card Technical Operations
2. Achievement of sales and profit targets as defined by the business
3. Ensure all operational KPI's are achieved i.e PPM's, Response times etc
4. Ensure all appropriate quality standards are achieved
5. Deliver annual staff appraisals and development plans

Qualifications, experience, know-how and skills critical for success*

• Required training and education:
• Academic degree in electrical and electronic engineering or
• Academic degree in international management
• Functional related post graduate education (PhD, MBA) is a benefit
• Required professional experience (in years):
• Specific Functions, E.g. Project Management Or Line Management Experience. Strong and successful performance in an executive management role (~ 5 - 6 years professional experience)
• Experience in Distributor management would be advantageous 
• Ability to think strategically and able to cascade strategy into operational level objectives and KPIs
• Other specialized knowledge:
• Technical knowledge
• IT know-how of systems (high knowledge of Microsoft office, Lotus Notes, Internet)
• Strong technical understanding and product know-how
• Proper leadership and management skills
• Strong knowledge of medical products and the related responsibility associated therewith
• Customer and local specific knowledge
• Excellent moderation and presentation skills
• Excellent Project Management and implementation skillsate quality standards are achieved 
• Excellent leadership skills and management techniques following good leadership principles
• Future-oriented, solution-oriented, proactive and out of the box thinking personality
