Eligible for Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
Minimum 8 years relevant experience, including project or programme management within a Transport, Roads and Stormwater implementation environment.
A valid Code B driver licence and own transport
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Built Environment and Project Management functions.
Ability to operate independently at a highly proficient level
Key Performance Areas
Manage the regional capital works projects for the Urban Mobility Directorate.
Project manage, coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of multidiscipline capital works projects within the Transport, Roads and Stormwater environment.
Undertake all contract management functions in respect of assigned contracts.
Coordinate and manage all project elements of planning, execution and control, interact with internal and external stakeholders
Prepare capital budgets, manage and control the expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
Manage, develop and mentor staff within the assigned team.
Comply with legislative, administrative and reporting requirements.
