    HR Specialist - Delmas

    Being a Senior HR Practitioner, our HR Specialist will work in partnership with Operational & Functional management teams to:

    • Be a Trusted Advisor to the leadership team at the Delmas Plant, and in doing so establish and maintain effective and efficient HR administration, management and development practices and facilitate HR service delivery.
    • Provide professional HR advice, coaching and solutions on all people related issues that support the business in the identification and management of workforce issues and major change programmes.
    • Support the Operational and Functional team in handling the day to day HR Employee Life Cycle processes and compliance. 
    • Utilise the talent development process and tools delivered by the Organizational Efficiency Team to provide and develop a diverse talent pipeline for the short - term needs of the business.
    • To bring HR insight (including Employee and Industrial Relations) to all people related issues (people, capabilities, organisation, leadership and culture).
    • To ensure the integration and implementation of corporate HR policy and practice.
    • To establish and maintain effective and efficient workforce practices and relations within regions/functions. 

    About You.

    • Min NQF Level 6 Qualification in Human Resource Management
    • Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
    • At least 5 years’ experience as a HR generalist
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG would be advantageous)
    • Strong ER experience
    • Ability to apply HR knowledge / experience across HR policies, programs, processes and functions
    • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
    • Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
    • Strong ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with impact and handle confidential information.
    • Working knowledge of HR systems is beneficial, particularly SAP and SuccessFactors
    • The ability to work well independently and be self motivated
