    Human Capital Administrator (e-HR)

    About the job:

    The CSIR has a vacancy for Human Capital Administrator (e-HR) in the Human Capital and Strategic Communications. The incumbent will be responsible for the effective Human Capital Administration through managing and administering the employee life cycle. The incumbent will ensure and maintain a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and reliable HR Data. This position is based in Pretoria.

    Key responsibilities:

    Responsible for the management and administration of the employee life cycle, including the following:

    • Appointments;
    • Terminations;
    • Leave Management and Administration;
    • Employee Benefits Administration;
    • Document and Records Management;
    • Ad hoc Tasks.

    Qualifications, skills and experience:

    • Minimum qualification National Diploma in Human Resources or a NQF 6 related qualification with at least three years’ experience HR administration.
    • All international qualifications require an evaluation report / certificate issued by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
    • Must be customer orientated
    • Strong computer literacy
    • Specific experience with PeopleSoft / Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) Systems (HC Modules) will be an advantage
    • Knowledge of labour legislation and data protection regulations
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
    • Take initiative
    • Sense of accountability
    • Strong sense of confidentiality
    • Assertive
    • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
    • Organisation and planning skills
    • Problem solving / solution driven
    • Ability to handle pressure
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
