Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioners, ventilation systems, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Work with clients to understand their HVAC needs and provide technical advice.
• Test system performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system conditions.
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors on complex HVAC projects.

Requirements:

• Education: Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of fault-finding techniques and repair procedures.

Certifications:

• SAQCC Gas License (advantageous).
• Valid driver's license.
