You will be working within an established finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. With continual changes to regulations surrounding importing and exporting goods after Brexit, it will be your responsibility to establish processes, ensure compliance and resolve queries from customs, head office, customers and HMRC. You will also have to check tariffs and import VAT, prepare for audits and perform monthly SOX controls.
What You'll Need To Succeed
You will have proven experience in an import/export environment. You will be well organised and have excellent attention to detail when managing large quantities of data to tight deadlines. You will have strong communication skills in order to respond to queries, and be confident on Excel including pivot tables and V-Lookups. You will be resilient and have experience working to best practice, creating procedures and of taking ownership of projects. Experience using SAP is desirable but not essential.
