We combine theoretical learning and practical experience, supported by rotations across the Insurance & Asset Management Technology business lifecycle.  This role is designed to provide practical exposure to GRC frameworks, policies, and controls within the Insurance and Asset Management IT environment while also providing a platform to drive collaboration with assurance partners - audit, non-financial risk and compliance.
• The position contributes to building a secure and well‑governed ecosystem by monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing technology controls across systems and applications.

Working within a diverse technology landscape, the role engages with:

• RMP – Risk Management
• Aravo – Third Party Risk Management
• Control First – Control Management
• Remedy – IT Service Management

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Governance

• Assist in maintaining and reviewing standards, procedures, and frameworks
• Support governance forums, including the preparation of reports
• Help track action items and compliance with approved governance decisions

Risk Management

• Support the identification, assessment, and documentation of IT risks
• Assist with maintaining risk registers and monitoring risk treatment plans
• Help with risk reporting and dashboards for management

Compliance

• Support audits (internal and external) by collecting evidence and tracking findings

Additional Information

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be under 30 years of age
• Maximum of two years work experience
• Minimum of 65% average over all years of study
