Java Angular Developer at DeARX Services (Pty) Ltd

As a Java Angular Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and robust software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on Angular front-end development.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to create responsive and user-friendly web applications.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Java development with a strong emphasis on Angular framework.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful web services and API development.
• Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with other front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
