Junior COBOL Programmer(IT 13) at Werkie

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and maintenance of COBOL-based software systems
• Provide support for existing legacy systems
• Maintain direct contact with end-users to resolve issues and provide technical support
• Perform regular database maintenance
• Complete general administrative and development-related tasks
• Be willing to travel occasionally
• Be available for assistance tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification with Mathematics
• 1-2 years of experience with IBM i (AS400) systems and COBOL.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle.
• Any other qualification is advantageous 
• Computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
