Junior Legal Counsel

- Experience
- Location Gauteng
- City Johannesburg
- Job Field Law / Legal
You will have the following:
- A LLB degree
- English Law qualified
- Finance legal drafting experience
- Experience in drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial contracts
- Experience with Power Purchase Agreements (preferred)
- Experience with commodity offtake agreements (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:

Process:
- Draft, review, edit, interpret contracts and other legal documents and correspondence
- General document management
- Participate in the negotiation of loans, offtake and power purchase agreements
- Willing to travel to the mines and project of the group, inclusive of travelling to the DRC
- Provide general assistance to the finance team with regards to legal queries
- Conduct research and provide solutions to legal queries
- Assist with general administrative tasks and document management
