    L2 Analyst - Web and Mobile Applications - Claremont

    Job description

    Your Duties and Responsibilities...

    • Provide second-level technical support for VASA website, web applications, and mobile application, including issue analysis, diagnosis, and resolution.
    • Collaborate closely with L1 support analyst to escalate and address complex technical issues in a timely manner.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, security, and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
    • Investigate and resolve issues related to web application logic, database connectivity, APIs, and integration with third-party services.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile application functionality, usability, performance, and compatibility across different platforms and devices.
    • Work closely with development teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
    • Document troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and best practices to enhance internal knowledge sharing and improve support efficiency.
    • Stay informed about the latest web and mobile technologies, trends, and best practices to provide proactive support and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
    • This role requires flexibility in working hours to accommodate the dynamic needs of our members and staff.

    Minimum requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support role, with a focus on supporting websites, web applications, and mobile applications.
    • Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
    • Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and mobile app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, SQLite) and experience with SQL queries for troubleshooting purposes.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Certification in relevant technologies or frameworks is a plus.
