Job Description

• Responsible for the development and maintenance oversight of a cost to serve model for Payments & Regulatory COE
• Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders to develop a detailed understanding of their business processes and architecture to inform the development of a cost to serve model.
• Maintain an interactive process with business and IT stakeholders as the analytical solution is being developed - present and receive feedback on work-in-progress.
• Profile and analyze the data to identify significant trends and patterns that would serve to create insight for business stakeholders regarding volume, channel, product and SBU.
• Lead initiatives to that deliver automation of meaningful management reporting aligned with strategic objectives of Payments & Regulatory COE for pan Africa
• Provide input into the prioritisation of data analytics initiatives to support business and communicate as such to stakeholders
• Analyse data across multiple systems and multiple formats and provide analytics that inform integrated views necessary to assist with business concerns
• Prepare and/or validate business initiatives benefit calculations by undertaking an independent review of the data and outputs
• Provide an independent assessment of the ROI with respect to the cost of planned initiatives compared to the forecast benefits
• Develop reporting to track the realisation of benefits and assess the impact from a productivity, service and capacity perspective
• Ensure that robust controls around management information and processes are implemented and operating effectively
• Provide required support to business units during the course of external/internal audits and other risk and control reviews

Education And Experience Required

• Relevant Bachelors degree in Commerce, Information Management or Statistics / NQF Level 7 equivalent
• +7 relevant information management experience
• 5 years financial services experience
• Qlikview developer
• Other: Python, R, SQL
