Job Description
FEM is looking to appoint a Learning and Development Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the current skill level of employees and to coordinate training and development programs to enhance operational effectiveness and productivity. The position further requires the incumbent to evaluate the outcomes of training sessions and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements as well as monitor training costs against budgets and ensure efficient use of company resources. The successful incumbent must have strong interpersonal skills, creative thinking, act as the custodian of the learner management system with good attention to detail.
Working knowledge of the learning and development environment, the ability to speak more than one language, as well as good report writing skills and in-depth knowledge of the skills development legislation are essential requirements of the position. A good understanding of the budget process and the ability to coordinate learning programs to maximise skills development points on BBBEE are also essential requirements. The successful candidate must be able to prove experience in the successful submission of WSP/ATR to any Seta with a district advantage of submission to the Insurance Seta (INSETA).
The minimum requirements of the position are a Learning and Development related qualification and a minimum of 2 years related experience. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in a Learning and Development environment based on our essential requirements of the position.
We have offices regionally in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. This position is based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
