    Rehabilitation Authoriser

    Job Description
    FEM is looking to appoint a Rehabilitation Authorizer to provide support to the Medical Services and Claims department by providing rehabilitation and reintegration services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preauthorisation for all cases that require Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, assistive devices, and other Allied Health Services in line with our internal protocols. Furthermore, the successful candidate will compile, evaluate, and review rehabilitation programmes that consider the nature of the injury, the level of care, the length of treatment and the desired outcomes.

    The position requires the successful incumbent to have experience in disability management as well as experience in applying clinical knowledge to proactively mitigate the risk of over servicing whilst ensuring cost savings and quality care in terms of the COID Act and other relevant guidelines.

    The minimum requirements of the position are a degree in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, and any equivalent rehabilitation qualification with active registration with the respective regulatory professional body. The position requires the incumbent to have functional computer literacy as well as an excellent performance track record. Knowledge of the COID Act and workman's compensation will be a distinct advantage.

    A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a related environment with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer focus, the ability to work in a highly pressurized environment, quality orientation, reliability and excellent communication skills complete our requirements.

    We have offices regionally in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. This position can work from any of our regional offices.  In exchange for the candidate’s successful services, FEM offers a competitive total cost to company remuneration with good benefits.

    Learning And Development Coordinator

    Job Description
    FEM is looking to appoint a Learning and Development Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the current skill level of employees and to coordinate training and development programs to enhance operational effectiveness and productivity. The position further requires the incumbent to evaluate the outcomes of training sessions and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements as well as monitor training costs against budgets and ensure efficient use of company resources. The successful incumbent must have strong interpersonal skills, creative thinking, act as the custodian of the learner management system with good attention to detail. 

    Working knowledge of the learning and development environment, the ability to speak more than one language, as well as good report writing skills and in-depth knowledge of the skills development legislation are essential requirements of the position. A good understanding of the budget process and the ability to coordinate learning programs to maximise skills development points on BBBEE are also essential requirements. The successful candidate must be able to prove experience in the successful submission of WSP/ATR to any Seta with a district advantage of submission to the Insurance Seta (INSETA).

    The minimum requirements of the position are a Learning and Development related qualification and a minimum of 2 years related experience. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in a Learning and Development environment based on our essential requirements of the position.

    We have offices regionally in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.  This position is based in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
