Learning & Development Specialist at Vodacom

Your responsibilities will include:

• To support and drive the strategic delivery of the BBBEE spend and mandate within the respective Business Units – aligned to the overall organisational goal.
• Ensure significant ROI for all capability programmes.
• Engage with each business unit within ISPC to determine the work skills plan. 
• Assess learning needs and identify training methods and appropriate mediums of delivery.
• To support the continuous development and uptake of the relevant online Academies (BU related).
• Programme managing all parts of a capability workstream from identifying initial requirements through to programme delivery and embedding within the business.
• Initiate and manage new training projects with 3rd party contractor trainers.
• Ensure that all training is booked and POs are created, in line with policy.
• Support sourcing/managing Suppliers according to ISCP guidelines and SLAs.
• Ensure training vendors are loaded accordingly and ensure rollout and facilitation of Infinity induction sessions as and when required.
• Ensure the effective management of the Infinity bursary programme or other related learning interventions. 
• To provide relevant and regular reports every month.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Matric/Grade 12 is essential.
• 3-year relevant degree /diploma.
• 3-5 years’ experience within the HR function.
• Relevant L&D exposure (minimum of 2 years).
• Facilitation skills (Advantageous).
• Commercial acumen and good business knowledge (internal and external).
• Ability to challenge and influence business stakeholders.
• HR Knowledge of all key functions and interdependencies.
