Lecturer(1614) at University of the Western Cape/Universiteit van Wes-Kaapland

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibility areas:

• Coordinating activities for undergraduate and clinical programmes.
• Supervision of Masters level research if he/she holds a PhD.
• Teaching and learning at an undergraduate level and/or post graduate level.
• Participate in research programmes,
• Develop industry and academic partnerships. 
• Engage in community outreach.

Minimum Requirements

• A Master's in Nursing or a Master's in a related Health discipline (e.g. Masters in Public Health). 
• Experience in teaching and /or clinical supervision.
• Evidence of publication output.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse / Midwife / Community Health Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nurse Educator.

An added advantage:

• The ideal candidate for this position should be a highly-motivated person progressing or registered for a PhD in Nursing.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as an Advanced Midwif
