Lecturer Community & Health Sciences -> School of Nursing at University of the Western Cape/Universiteit van Wes-Kaapland

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibility areas:

• Teaching and learning at an undergraduate and postgraduate level.
• Supervision of Masters level research if he/she holds a PhD.
• Participate in research
• Develop industry and academic partnerships.
• Engage in community outreach.
• Responsible for administrative duties within the department, faculty and the university. 

Minimum Requirements

• A Master's in Nursing or a Master's in a related Health discipline.
• Experience in teaching and clinical supervision.
• Evidence of publication output.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse / Midwife / Community Health Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Nurse Educator.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Assessor and Moderator.

An added advantage:

• The ideal candidate for this post as lecturer should be a highly-motivated person progressing or registered for a PhD in Nursing.
• An additional qualification in a clinical speciality and/or Health Services Management
