Registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist
Minimum competency Unit Standards as provided for in the MFMA or if not in possession of the Unit Standards be willing to obtain within 18 months of appointment
Minimum 10-years post qualification (Degree) experience with Water & Sanitation Planning, Design or Modeling. Minimum 3-years’ experience in a Managerial position
Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
Computer literacy.
Other Requirements:
Specialised knowledge of Water and Wastewater Treatment Specialised knowledge or Water and Wastewater pumping systems
Specialised knowledge of Environmental Management processes
Sounds knowledge of the regulatory requirements pertaining to Water and Wastewater Services Managerial and supervisory skills
