    Manufacturing Sales Representative (49339)

    Job Description

    • A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their dynamic team, based in Gauteng.
    • This role reports directly to the National Sales Executive.
    • We are looking for a self-motivated sales professional with proven experience in the manufacturing or wholesale industry.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving monthly sales targets.

    Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12) + a qualification in Sales or Marketing, Manufacturing (e.g. IMM Certificate) would be preferred.
    • Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar sales role, for the manufacturing or wholesale sector
    • Stable career history with proven track record of targets reached
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be willing and able to travel regularly

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Core focus would be 60% existing client maintenance & satisfaction and 40% on new business development
    • Source and secure new business through client visits and cold calling
    • Understand customer requirements and tailor solutions accordingly
    • Conduct presentations and promote new products and special offers
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms
    • Advise clients on delivery timelines and after-sales service
    • Maintain regular contact with existing clients via visits and calls
    • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments
    • Attend industry seminars, trade shows, and events to stay up to date
    • Achieve and report on monthly sales targets
    • Submit accurate orders and customer details to internal sales support
