    Marketing Graduate

    Job description

    The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) is so much more than just another convention centre.     The main purpose: The role of a Marketing Graduate serves as a foundation for gaining knowledge and actively participating in different aspects of marketing, advertising, administration, and research. The incumbent will play a key role in making our brand successful and will be a helpful support to the Head of Marketing.

    Reporting to the: Head of Marketing

    Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

     Coordinating Marketing Activities

    • Play a pivotal role in coordinating diverse marketing activities.
    • Collaborate closely with team members to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
    • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance of company brands and products.
    • Work alongside the Marketing team, gaining hands-on experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns.
    • Contribute to the implementation of marketing plans.
    • Contribute to planning and executing events.
    • Assist with coordinating logistics for successful events.
    • Work collaboratively with different departments, aligning marketing activities with overall business goals.

     Administration 

    • Assist in generating reports for the Head of Marketing.
    • Support with cost estimates, invoicing follow-ups, and ensure accuracy in documents and designs.
    • Contribute to project management activities.

     Ad-Hoc Projects

    • Contribute to various ad hoc projects as requested from time to time.

    Job requirements

    Minimum qualifications and experience:

    • Matric certificate (NQF Level 4).
    • Must have at least a National Diploma in Marketing Management (NQF Level 6).
    • Must have an excellent command of the English language and demonstrate a high level of communication, written and listening skills at all levels.
    • Be computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word; Outlook and Excel).
