Marketing Services Manager at Saint-Gobain

Job Purpose

To support all internal and external communication development and distribution for Saint-Gobain as well as individual businesses/brands, ensuring consistency of brand touchpoints and quality of messaging.

Key responsibilities : 

• Writing of all Internal and external corporate communication to support the communication and brand initiatives of the business
• Working closely with HR department to identify key initiatives to increase employee engagement
• Collating monthly reports to highlight campaigns and initiatives across all businesses to keep key stakeholders apprised of activity
• Corporate branding strategy development and execution to ensure consistency across campaigns
• Implementation of aligned corporate branding to support brand equity development
• Development of posters, safety communications, newsletters and marketing merchandise on behalf of Product and corporate stakeholders to ensure high level of professionalism and consistency
• Weekly CEO communication development and distribution
• Developing monthly feedback presentations to the Global/central team to ensure local activity is well-represented and understood
• Editing and supporting the development of all Product press releases and social media posts to improve the quality of copy
• Working closely with Digital to ensure quality and up-to-date content on all company websites
• Brand and corporate events management to support various initiatives
• Management of key media suppliers and evaluation of replacement agencies where appropriate so that the company remains assured of optimal partner egagement
• Processing of invoices on SAP in support of ICRF
• Supporting in the development and editing of opinion leader pieces so that the sector and specialist sales teams are empowered with quality content
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team to create and manage communications
• Continuously measure the effectiveness of all communications campaigns against and suggest possible improvements in process and output
• All such duties and/or activities assigned by management/board as and when required.

Qualifications required:

• Relevant Marketing Bdegree
• Post graduate degree would be advantageous

 Knowledge and Skills . 

• 3yrs Marketing or Communications experience, ideally within construction or building materials industry
• Experience managing external partners and agencies advantageous
• Experience working within a multinational environment with mostly de-centralised marketing activities
• A solid understanding of marketing, advertising & PR principles
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to generate quality content from disparate sources, a must
• Very high attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must
• Action orientated and ability to multi-task
• Self-starter
• Ability to develop good working relationships internally and externally
• Formal or informal training on construction-related products and application methods
