Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in various earthmoving equipment.
Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in earthmoving machinery technology.
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
Repair and service to the full range of Bell Equipment machinery.
Strip, asses & rebuild machine components, including engine, transmission, axles, pumps etc.
Plan for parts & equipment required for specific repairs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must be qualified red seal Earthmoving Mechanics with a minimum of N2 trade theory, engineering science, applied math’s & engineering drawing.
Solid understanding of electrical systems in heavy machinery
5 years post trade experience in mechanical repairs field
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in earthmoving equipment.
Valid code 10 driver’s license.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills & attention to detail
Previous experience working with earthmoving equipment.
Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools.
Additional certificates in electrical systems or related fields would be an advantage.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
