    Media Network Graduate Trainee

    About Job

    • We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented digital marketing graduate to support Red Bull South Africa’s digital and social initiatives across sports, culture, and brand projects. This role bridges creative execution, platform strategy, and community engagement, ensuring Red Bull South Africa content stays fresh, locally relevant, and globally aligned.
    • You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams and partners to manage daily social operations, campaign rollouts, content optimization, and digital innovation projects.

    Areas that play to your strengths

    All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

    Social Media Management

    • Manage and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter) via Red Bull South Africa’s accounts.
    • Support the development of always-on content plans, including curation, scheduling, and reporting.
    • Maintain the digital touch points updates weekly to ensure visibility of events, news, and campaigns.
    • Partner with creative and media teams to manage paid boosting budgets, tracking spend and performance in Monday.com.

    Content Programming & Planning

    • Lead weekly programming status meetings, ensuring cross-team alignment on upcoming campaigns and timelines.
    • Collaborate with creative agencies on video re-edits and digital storytelling.
    • Identify and manage archive footage and formats to optimize future content flow.
    • Support website editorial initiatives, exploring ways to make RedBull.com more localized and culturally resonant.

    Research & Innovation

    • Contribute to podcast integration research and RBTV distribution initiatives.
    • Participate in global social webinars and internal learning modules.
    • Content Shooting & Editing
    • Have a strong eye for detail and a passion for capturing the perfect shot.
    • Must be able to shoot and edit content independently.
    • Professional editing software experience is not required, editing on tools like CapCut is perfectly acceptable.

    EXPERIENCE

    • Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
    • An understanding and passion for social media management, digital marketing, or content production.
    • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and X platforms.
    • Excellent communication, coordination skills.
    • Passion for sports, culture, and youth media.
    • Must be managing a social media account.
