Job Summary
Purpose of the role

• Based in our Cape Town offices (V&A Waterfront), the purpose of this role is to provide media expertise and support the group head of Marketing with all media management related activities.

Reporting line

• The role reports into the group head of Marketing.

Job Responsibilities
The job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Assume responsibility for media planning across all traditional media
• Manage and maintain media flow plans
• Manage creative agency chase list
• Manage the dispatch of all advertising material to media houses
• Manage all external media queries
• Manage competitor media reports
• Prepare media performance and spend reports
• Stay abreast of the media landscape
• Process media invoices
• Prepare and manage the media budget
• Liaise with external media houses

Qualifications And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce, Marketing
• Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in media management
• Experience in developing and maintaining media strategies to meet company objectives
• Proven track record of working within a media agency
• Demonstrable technical media management skills
