We are looking for a medical copywriter to join our dynamic Healthworld team. The copywriter will write, edit and proof check copy for a variety of projects for different advertising materials from print to digital. Our content is aimed at a variety of audiences from healthcare professionals to consumers.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Work closely with the team in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development
Ensure content is accurately referenced and compliant with the necessary regulations and guidelines
Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences
Produce engaging, clearly written materials in a variety of formats, including print, web, interactive content, social media and more
Comfortably adapt voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the company, or target audience at hand
Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
Proofread for accuracy and quality
About You
Experienced copywriter with a medical education
Proven writing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written)
Collaborative attitude
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals
Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources
Able to convert research into creative content that will be presented in the form of infographics, social media posts, detail aids, emails, articles, brochures and more.
Comfortably interpret clinical data and research

Education and Experience
Postgraduate degree in medical science or related field
