    Meter Auditor: Meter Reading - REF: MAUDITORMETERREADING JW384EX/2023

    PURPOSE

    • To ensure meter readings are completed and accurate.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure meter readings are correct. Read all meters on route.
    • Report on properties not on route and any other findings.
    • Investigate Technical faults. Refer illegal connections or defective meters accordingly.
    • Attend to admin related task as specified by Team Leader about identified special project.
    • Compile, consolidate and submit daily / monthly statistics to the Team Leader.
    • Attend to general admin work within Meter Reading Department scope as specified by Team Leader.

    • Ensure Filing is kept in an organized manner and all documents are easily accessible.
    • Ensure Administration is completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Essential qualifications and experience:

    • Grade 12 or relevant NQF 4
    • 4 years’ relevant experience in the following fields: account management, billing and revenue, customer liaison, credit control, meter reading maintenance and investigations.
    • Valid Driver’s License
